Ladies Leather Wallets

Her birthday is coming up and you don’t have a clue about what to buy for her. How about changing her worn down wallet for a nice, brand new ladies leather wallet? Not just any old leather wallet, though, that may not get her approval. Go out and get her an exotic leather designer wallet. It is an excellent gift that she will use every day and will appreciate even if the wallet she is using is in perfect shape.

The first thing you must think about and then decide on, is how much space she needs. How many credit card slots does she need? Does she carry her coins in it or in a coin purse? Does she carry her check book inside too? If she doesn’t, would she chose to if the wallet has a compartment for it? These are important questions to answer before going out to the store. The right answers will show her that you know her well and picked the perfect gift for her.

 Leather wallets are available in a very wide range of prices. You will be looking for something special, something she will know set you back some. Crocodile or alligator leather is not great for women; it is more of a man’s wallet material. It is better to go with something smoother, something that is softer and less patterned. Ostrich or tilapia skin would be nice and they are not common.

Pick a wallet that is light tan, or another color that is light, but don’t buy something too flashy or too colorful unless you know she enjoys having things with vibrant colors. You want to buy something neutral that will match with all her purses or she will be forced to use your wallet on some occasions and her old wallet on others. A useful hint is to make sure that the wallet you choose closes in the same way as the one she is using now. It can be a clasp, a zipper or a snap.
 
There are many designer wallets in the market, and the prices vary from one to the other. Prada is good but expensive, Fendi, or Dolce & Gabanna may be cheaper but the price does not really matter if you find something that meets all her needs.

Enough credit card slots for her cards, an id window, a special compartment for her check book and it must open completely; do not get one of those wallets that only opens half way, with the coin pocket in the middle. The leather should be framed in stainless steel and not plated metal and the hinge on the bottom should be solid and resistant. Keep the color neutral but nice. White is no good, you need a light tan or light brown. Black is often a difficult color to match, so stick with a lighter color. If you can find one that has a matching coin purse, it would be even better, get her the complete set.

Have your ladies leather wallet nicely wrapped and you are set. Now all you need is some flowers and dinner reservations. A little champagne and a good meal will help make the perfect birthday for your special someone!
